Description
The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground - Fort Belvoir intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Santa Barbara Infrared, Inc.- 30 S Calle Ceasar Chaves Suite D, Santa Barbara, CA 93103-5652 a Purchase Order on a firm-fixed price basis for the following items: (1) Model 13600 Visible Target Projector. Includes STC-840Z collimator, VSX-04-P-A-L-10-EG (visible integrating sphere with 4" port, 312i target wheel, controller) (1) 900-285-PL, Target Assy, 312, USAF1951 Groups 0 through 7 (1) 310-000-895, Target Assy, 312, USAF1951 Group -2 elements 5 and 6, Groups -1 and 0 all elements through 6 It has been determined that Santa Barbara Infrared, Inc. is the Only One Responsible Source, and no other supplies or services will satisfy Agency Requirements. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1); Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The requiring activity for this award is Night Vision Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD). This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. Responses shall be no longer than five (5) pages and provided in Microsoft Word compatible format. All responses should be received via email within fifteen (15) calendar days of the date of this notice at 2:00 PM local time. The anticipated award date is fifteen (15) days from the closing date of this notice. All offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration in accordance with FAR 52.204-7 and DFAR 252.204-7004. In addition, all offerors must complete the Certifications and Representations as set forth in FAR 52.212-3. This can be accomplished through the following website: https://orca.bpn.gov. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. All requests for information must be made by e-mail to Wanda Noblin, Contract Specialist, at wanda.noblin@us.army.mil. The subject of the mail message shall be: W909MY-12-P-0004, Your Company's Name. No telephonic inquiries or requests will be honored.
