Sources Sought Notice Sources Sought Notice No: Tittle: International Lab Supplies, Test Kits, Testing Instruments Description: This is a Small Business 8(a) Sources Sought (SBSS) notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotation. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding: (1) the availability and capability of qualified 8a small business sources; and (2) their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition. Your responses to the information is requested and will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. An organization that is not considered a small business 8(a) under the applicable NAICS code should not submit a response to this notice. This will be awarded as a firmed. If the CDC is successful in identifying viable, qualified contractors, the CDC intends to award a firm fixed price contract. The CDC International operations have grown significantly in recent years, and the laboroatory supplies and support services, to include logistics, has grown along with it. Laboratories and logistics management are an integral part of our success. In our effort to build laboratory capacity, it is essential that we establish a capable supply chain that can ship directly to laboratories we support and provide direct assistance to the laboratories at CDC. The objective is to establish suppliers with the ability to supply, store and distribute required laboratory supplies without delay to the International Laboratory Community.
