- The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Virginia, intends to purchase on a sole source basis from Concurrent Computer Corporation the following software and maintenance: Quantity of 1, Part Number: W-RHL-RT-IA32, Description: RedHawk Linux 32-Bit with Red Hat Distribution Includes one RedHawk Linux Right-to-Use License; Quantity of 50, Part Number: W-RHL-RT-UL, Description: RedHawk Linux Right to Use License; Quantity of 1, Part Number: SW-YM, Description: One year of software maintenance on each of the above licenses. This specific Concurrent software is required by the Aegis program to ensure compatibility between Dahlgren's land-based facility and ships. Therefore, only the specified software will meet the Government's requirements; no substitutions. These items will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government will not issue a written request for quotations as all items are identified on this notice. Delivery is to be FOB Destination, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114, no later than 30 days after date of order. Award is anticipated on or before 15 March 2012. Electronic quote submission is encouraged to susan.staples@navy.mil but quotes may also be faxed to (540) 653-0592. The closing date for receipt of quotations is 1 pm EDT on 02 March 2012. Please include shipping charges for delivery to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100. Award will be made on an all or none basis.
