- Release of Information SUBJECT: DCGS Information to Technology Vendors ESC/HSJB of the Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom AFB, Massachusetts will make available upon request the "Air Force DCGS National System for Geospatial Intelligence Video Services Implementation Plan" (AF DCGS NVS IP), to those vendors who are interested in NVS integration into the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS). Currently there is no request for proposal tied to this study. It is for informational purposes only. If you are interested in receiving this document please contact Joe Vitelli at joseph.vitelli@hanscom.af.mil, Contract Specialist. All data and documentation provided will be STINFO D and must be handled appropriately. All interested contractors must provide a valid DD 2345 Certification number and active cage code prior to receiving a copy of the AF DCGS NVS IP. Release is subject to the following: "Distribution Statement D: Distribution authorized to the Department of Defense and U.S. DoD Contractors only; administrative/operational use; March 12, 2009. Other requests for this document shall refer to the Lead, Developmental Systems Management Office (ESC/HSJB), Hanscom AFB, Massachusetts 01731. DESTRUCTION NOTICE: Destroy by any method that will prevent disclosure of contents or reconstruction of the document." Background: The AF DCGS is a worldwide distributed, network centric, system-of-systems architecture that conducts collaborative intelligence operations and production. As an integrated component of the DoD information grid, the system serves as the AF's primary Tasking, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TPED) architecture to deliver direct and indirect ISR information to the Joint Force Air Combat Command (JFACC) for ISR Management, Intelligence Preparation of the Battlespace, Predictive Battlespace Awareness, Indications & Warning, Current Intelligence, Assessment of Military Force and Support Capabilities, Analysis of Enemy Courses of Action (Intent), Targeting & Weaponeering, Mission Planning, and Air Combat Training mission(s) execution. National System for Geospatial Intelligence (NSG) Video Services (NVS) Integration Plan: In 2011 the Government contracted with Harris Corp to develop an implementation plan to integrate the National System for Geospatial Intelligence (NSG) Video Services (NVS) into the AF DCGS enterprise. The final document describes the integration plan, which specifically outlines the issues of design, integration, development testing, operational testing, fielding support and sustainment (as options) of hardware and software components that will be integrated into the AF DCGS baseline.
