Description
Acrylic Panel Drawings The Government has a commodities requirement for Acrylic Sandwich Panels. This is a total Small Business Set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 423490 with a size standard of 100 employees; the SIC code is 5049. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. The incorporated provisions and clauses are current to FAC 2005-56, Effective 02 March 2012. On your quote send a schematic, drawing, illustration, or photo of a substitute mounting hardware/method. The mounting hardware/method must be able to mount on sheetrock. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, tools, parts, shipping, and all other items necessary to provide the following items: DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: Lot A- Five custom cut acrylic sandwich panels and required mounting pins/pegs that project approximately one (1) inch from the wall (See Figure 1 for hardware installation). The acrylic panels are intended for a display in the Air Force Special Operations Command Headquarters building and are cut to match the shapes identified in each drawing. The largest panels are 48 inches in their longest dimension. Nine pages of attached drawings indicate the requested shape of each panel (scaled at 2" = 1'-0"). Locations for the mounting pins/pegs will be based on your design experience to ensure a strong and durable mount of the acrylic sandwich frame panel to the wall. Lot B- Nine (9) 18 inch square acrylic sandwich panels and required mounting pins/pegs that project approximately one (1) inch from the wall. The rear panel shall have a frosted/translucent finish. The panels will be mounted on a wall as shown in Figure 2 in the attachments. The pin/peg mounting hardware will be similar to that shown in Figure 3 in the attachments. If this type of hardware is unavailable please provide a schematic, drawing, illustration, or photo of a substitute mounting hardware/method. Lot C-Twelve (12) acrylic sandwich panels measuring 10-1/2 inches by 13 inches (shown in Figure 4 in the attachment) and required mounting pins/pegs that project approximately one (1) inch from the wall (see Figure 1 in the attachment for hardware illustration). The rear panels shall have a frosted/translucent finish. DELIVERY: Delivery needs to be not later than 2 April 2012. FOB Destination to Hurlburt Field, FL 32544 THE FOLLOWING CLAUSES AND PROVISIONS APPLY TO THIS PROCUREMENT: FAR 52.212-1: Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items. It is amended to read: Offeror shall submit signed and dated offer to include technical specification. Offeror shall submit offers to Jennifer Beauchamp, 427 Cody Ave Bldg 90333, Hurlburt Field FL 32544-5810. Submit signed and dated quotations on company letterhead or quotation form and marked with solicitation number FA0021-12-R-0005. Offers may be emailed to jennifer.beauchamp@hurlburt.af.mil. The government reserves the right to evaluate proposals and award a contract without discussions with offerors. Offers shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR 52.212-2: Evaluation of Commercial Items which is incorporated into this Request for Quote, with an addendum to paragraph (a) as follows: The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Price and technical acceptability. When combined, price and technical acceptability are approximately equal.
