- FOR ALL INFORMATION PLEASE CONTACT: Noel Acevero, RDER-PRA-AB, (443)395-6962 noel.m.acevero.civ@mail.mil This is a sources sought announcement to locate potential sources for repair of the designated APN-209 receiver transmitters, RT-1115J, NSN: 5841-01-421-4162, P/N HG7209AD01 and RT-1115K, NSN: 5841-01-582-2320, P/N HG7209CA04, and RT-1411B, NSN: 5841-01-421-4161, P/N HG7210AC01 and RT-1411C, NSN: 5841-01-547-5286, P/N HG7210CA01. It is anticipated that a 3 year IDIQ type contract will be utilized to effect repairs. These units were produced sole source by Honeywell Inc., CAGE 94580. Units contain hardware and software proprietary to Honeywell. Honeywell is the current repair source for these units. Detailed technical data for these units is not available from the Army, except for acceptance test requirements after repair. Any sources capable of repairing these units must so indicate, by writing to CERDEC Chief, Avionic Branch, ATTN: RDER-PRA-AB, Building 6010, Aberdeen, MD 21005. The responses must demonstrate intimate knowledge of the system including areas such as fault isolation/repair procedures and projected parts/materials usage. Offerors may be required to warrant that the item repaired will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. The deadline for response is March 23, 2012. This sources sought announcement does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it guarantee any future contract.
