- Description
- The Northern Region of the Forest Service anticipates awarding a five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) studies and analyses throughout Montana, North Idaho, North Dakota, and NW South Dakota national forests and grasslands. Work will consist of, but is not limited to, the following: doing surveys of current stream conditions, search for cultural sites inside proposed activity areas, surveying for threatened and endangered flora and fauna species using Forest Service protocols, conducting soil surveys and writing feasibility reports, recommending mandatory operational curtailments and/or restrictions to meet regulatory requirements, etc. Also included is the completion of planning documents consistent with NEPA required methods and procedures; scoping and writing the decision document; identifying inter-disciplinary team members; setting up meetings with the stakeholders and interested public; defining the agenda, determining the location of and facilitating meetings.
