- The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is issuing a solicitation to acquire a contractor to provide cafeteria-style food and catering services for approximately 3,000 employees at its Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division's campus located at 1000 Custer Hollow Road, Clarksburg, West Virginia (WV). The Contractor shall establish and operate in the Contractor's name the FBI CJIS Division's food service for the purpose of providing full food services for the staff and guests. The contractor shall also be responsible for providing all administrative management, supervision, labor, meal planning, ordering of food products, unloading, storage, preparation, serving, clean up and facility maintenance in accordance with the criteria set forth in RFP-498740. The food service facilities include a cafeteria in the main building of the CJIS Division campus, International Conference Room, and a building adjacent from the main building. In addition, the contractor shall be responsible for catering services. The cafeteria in the main building of the CJIS Division campus occupies approximately 24,980 square feet (sf) and is centrally located on the ground floor of the Main Complex. This includes the following areas: Food preparation area (8,700 sf), serving area (7,650 sf), and dining area (8,000 sf). The approximate size of the potential second location adjacent to the main building is 11,200 sf. The contractor shall establish and operate in the contractor's own name. The contract period of performance will be five (5) years with two (2) five-year renewal options. Contractor employees shall be subjected to an FBI Background Investigation before access to the facility is permitted. The tentative date of performance under the contract will begin June 1, 2012. The tentative release date for the RFP is 3/26/12. All interested parties should submit a written request for RFP-498740 by e-mail referencing RFP-498740 in the SUBJECT line or by United States mail, postmarked no later than 15 days from the date of this notice. Any requests e-mailed or postmarked after the 15 days will be subject to the availability of solicitation packages. Telephone requests will not be honored. PLEASE NOTE: In accordance with the Randolph-Sheppard Act, 20 U.S.C.§ 107 et seq., priority will be given to any blind contractor's proposal.
