Description

This is a notice of intent that OO-ALC/PKEAS anticipates issuing a contract for the retrofit/rebuild of a Butler Newall Gap Bed Grinder. The proposed contract action is for services which the Government intends to solicit as a Small Business set-aside, in accordance with, FAR19.502-2. Interested parties may identify their interest in the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract action as a small business set-aside based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a small business set-aside. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, regarding this acquisition. This Presolicitation Notice corresponds with a previous Sources Sought Notice posted under solicitation number FA8224-12-R-4076.
