- General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to lease the following space: State: Alabama City: Dothan Delineated Area: North: Montgomery Highway/ US Highway 231 N South: Main Street/ US Highway 84 East: From Montgomery Hwy continue South to North Oats Street, Turning east on Powell Street, From Powell Street, Turning South on Appletree Street to Holman Street ending on Main Street/ US Highway 84 West: John D. Odom Road Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 12,343 Maximum Sq. Ft. (RSF): 14,194 Space Type: Office Parking Spaces (Total): 0 Full Term: Ten (10) years Firm Term: Five (5) years Additional Requirements: Interested parties must provide the name of the building, address, location of available space, rentable square feet offered, and contact information of authorized representative. In cases where an agent is representing multiple ownership entities, written acknowledgement/permission to represent multiple interested parties for the same submission. Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. The proposed leased space shall be fully serviced. Offered space shall not be in the 100 year flood plain. The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under lease in Dothan, AL that will be expiring. The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. In determining whether relocation will be economically advantageous, the Government will use the information it receives in response to this advertisement as a basis to develop a cost/benefit analysis and to determine whether to compete the lease requirement or pursue a sole source justification to remain at its current location. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternate space that potentially can satisfy the Government's requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunications infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.
