- Colville National Forest, West Branch LeClerc Crushing, Sullivan Lake Ranger District located in Pend Oreille County, Washington State. The Sullivan Lake Ranger District on the Colville National Forest located in North Eastern Washington State has a requirement for pit and quarry development and rock crushing. The Government is currently estimating stockpiling approximately 500 cubic yards of Rip Rap in accordance with Section 705.02 Class 3 and Class 4a, and approximately 9,500 tons of aggregate in accordance with Section 703.05 Grading A. Work also includes but not limited to: pit and quarry development, grading, blasting, rock crushing, testing and stockpiling aggregate. The Contractors shall furnish all management, labor, equipment, supervision, tools, materials, transportation, operating supplies, supervision, workman's compensation, unemployment insurance and incidentals necessary to perform the work in accordance with the drawings and specification of the contract. To get to the project from Newport, WA, travel north on Highway 2 across the Oldtown Bridge. Turn left at the end of the bridge and head north on the LeClerc Road, through the Kalispel Indian Reservation to LeClerc Creek, and County Road 3503. Head north on County Road 3503 to the junction with Forest Service Road 1933110. Head east on Road 1933110 to the Project Location. The project is estimated to start around August 15, 2012 and it must be completed by March 31, 2013. The project is estimated between $25,000 to $100,000. The awarded Contractor will have to provide an alternative payment protection. This project will be advertised as a written request for quotes. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about April 3 2012. Quotes are estimated to be due May 3 2012. The actual due date will be listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be posted on this site. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. NAICS code is 237990 size standard is $33.5 million. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. An electronic copy of the solicitation will be posted at this site on the issue date.
