- Description
- Special Notice: Engine Regional Repair Center (ERRC) Headquarters (HQ) Air Education and Training Command (AETC), Contracting Squadron, Randolph Air Force Base (AFB), Texas 78150-4302, intends to amend solicitation FA3002-11-R-0017 for the Engine Regional Repair Center (ERRC). This action is anticipated to be Amendment 0005 and will adjust the Section B Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) structure for the base period and all option periods. The revised structure will establish a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) CLIN to provide all services related to the necessary management, supervision, training, tools, non-maintenance labor, administration, vehicle acquisition, and maintenance, office and custodial supplies, preparing/submitting requested information and other related activities, equipment, parts and personnel to perform jet engine maintenance and related services as set forth in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Services provided under this CLIN will be based on an established workload. Additional CLINs will establish unit prices per engine for specific maintenance activities (i.e. PE, HPO and JEIM) above the established workload in the FFP CLIN. The unit prices on these additional CLINs will be based on ‘hands-on' engine maintenance, exclusive of other than hands-on functions/activity. Lastly, there will be 'Not to Exceed' CLIN's established to sustain consumables directly related to engine production and travel. Neither this notice nor the anticipated amendment reflects an attempt to establish or reopen an opportunity to submit competitive proposals. The Government intends to limit the response to the amended requirement to the offerors that originally submitted proposals in response to Solicitation number FA3002-11-R-0017.
