One-on-One Sessions The Government is planning to conduct one on-one sessions with those from industry that sign up. The one-on-one sessions are scheduled to begin at 1300 on 28 March 2012; however, based on the length of the briefings and question/answer period, the start time for the one-on-one sessions may be adjusted. Companies interested in having a one-on-one session must submit a written request NLT 26 March to the Contracting Officer. During this time, we urge you to discuss your ideas, provide feedback, and ask questions. The government reserves the right not to immediately respond to all questions asked but rather submit the answers in written format at a later date. It is the intent of the one-on-one Sessions to: - Increase industry understanding of government requirements - Afford industry the opportunity to surface perceived issues - Allow the Government to hear industry response and comment in general terms - Enable the Government and industry to better understand each other - Allow industry to display the government their production ready solution One-on-One sessions DO NOT: - Provide industry an opportunity to brief their intended proposal - Provide Government critique of potential offeror's intended approach - Constitute initiation of the negotiation process If, during the one-on-one sessions, the Government personnel release new information regarding this planned acquisition, the same new information will be provided to all potential offerors to include those potential offerors who choose not to attend the Industry Days. Care will be taken to avoid release of contractor proprietary information. NOTE: No electronic equipment may be brought into the briefing sessions. This includes, lap tops, cell phones, pagers, recording devices, etc. While there will be an area to leave these devices prior to entering the briefing session, the Government will not be liable for lost or stolen items. It is recommended that all electronic devices be securely locked in your vehicle. All notes taken during the briefing sessions and/or one-on-one sessions will be considered classified. The Government will collect all notes taken during the sessions and send them to the respective corporate security managers using standard classified document mailing procedures.
