- Solicitation Number: P12PS20914Notice Type: Combined Synopsis/SolicitationSynopsis: This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This request is being issued as Request for Quotation P12PS20914. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses and provisions enclosed within are those in effectthrough Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-29. FAR clauses and provisions are available through Internet access at http://www.arnet.gov/far. This is 100% set aside for small business and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The National Park Service encourages the participation of disadvantaged and women owned business enterprises. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 324121. The Government anticipates making a single award for this solicitation; vendors must quote on all items fortheir quote to be considered. The following is a description of the requirements for this acquisition.THE MANUFACTURING, FURNISHING AND THE DELIVERY OF HOT ASPHALT CONCRETE MIX. THE HOT ASPHALT MIX DESIGN MUST MEET CALTRANS STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS OF SECTION 39. THE AGGREGATE GRADATION WILL MEET THE SPECIFICATIONS OF 3/8 INCH MAXIMUM IN SECTION 39 (2.02). Delivery to the Furnace Creek Campground, located one mile north of the National Park Visitor Center, Highway 190, Death Valley National Park, Death Valley, California. Delivery to start in mid May, 2012 and to continue thereafter as arranged by Ainsley Holeso, Roads and Trails Foreman. Delivery may be contingent on weather conditions in the park. ITEM # 1.3/8 Inch Hot Asphalt Concrete Mix Delivered to Furnace Creek Campground, located one mile north of the National Park Visitor Center, Highway 190, Death Valley National Park, Inyo County, California. 2,700 Tons @$_______________/ton TOTAL BID$__________________________. Quantities for unit price bid items are estimated. Payment will be made only for actual quantities delivered.Quotors/Bidders must review and comply with the FAR Provisions or Clauses that apply to this solicitation.
