- Ventilation and Exhaust System Cleaning Services, Oahu, Hawaii. This solicitation combines the following requirements: 1.Contract No. N62478-10-D-2357, Clean Kitchen Exhaust, Mold Remediation and AC Duct Cleaning at Various Locations, Oahu, HI. 2.Contract No. FA5215-09-M-P007, Kitchen Hood Cleaning, Joint Base Pearl Harbor, Hickam (JBPHH), Hawaii. 3.New requirement: Clean Dryer Vents at 32 Barracks, MCBH (New Requirement). The work includes, but is not limited to, performing cleaning services on various ventilation systems such as, kitchen exhaust systems, air conditioning ductwork, laundry dryer duct vents, and other ventilation systems to ensure proper operation, to minimize breakdowns, and to maximize useful life. The Contractor shall clean kitchen exhaust systems in accordance with NFPA 96. Kitchen exhaust services shall include, but not limited to, clean interior and exterior surfaces of kitchen exhaust systems, including range hoods, filters, ducts, fire suppression systems, fans and fan housings; seal all air leaks in exhaust ductwork and access panels; and surface preparation, spot prime and paint bared and corroded exterior surfaces of hoods and ducts. The Contractor shall perform any repairs, including replacement, discovered during scheduled maintenance work up to a total of $250 per occurrence in direct material and labor cost under FFP portion of the contract. Procurement Method: Contracting by Negotiation. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 561790 and the annual size standard is $7,000,000.00. The contract term will be a base period of one year plus three option years. If the Government does not award a follow-on contract in time, the Government may require the Contractor to continue performance for an additional period up to six months under the Option to Extend Services clause. In either case, the Government will not synopsize the options when exercised. IDIQ work will be issued via the DOD EMALL, a web-based ordering system, using Government purchase. Information about the current contracts and the incumbent contractors (e.g., value of last option exercised, firm name, address, etc.) will be included in the solicitation package. Requests under the Freedom of Information Act are not required for this information. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation, and any attachments, at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ when it becomes available. All interested offerors shall register at the website. No notice of solicitation activity will be provided to interested offerors. The proposed contract listed here is a 100 percent 8(a) small business set-aside. The Government will not consider offers from other than 8(a) firms. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers. See numbered note 26. The solicitation utilizes source selection procedures which require offerors to submit a technical proposal, past performance and experience information, and a price proposal for evaluation by the Government.
