Description
The Government has a need for a vaporizer system for a laboratory at the US Army Medical Research of Chemical Defense (USAMRICD) in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. This notice is for market research purposes only. The Government has the following salient characteristics that the system must meet. Any responsible small business that is capable of quoting a system that meets ALL of the salient characteristics, can submit a product specification/capability statement to Erin Maddox via email at erin.maddox@amedd.army.mil. All responses are due via email by 27 March 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST). Please ensure your product meets all of the salient characteristics before submitting a statement. The following characteristics must be met with the products quoted at a minimum: Vaporizer 1.A carrier gas mass flow controller. 2.A liquid mass flow controller. 3.Pressure transmitter. 4.By-pass tubing. 5.Shut-off valve. 6.Mounted on a stainless steel plate. 7.Shall be remote mounted not to exceed 100 ft away. 8.Operating conditions that insure no decomposition. 9.Design shall not allow liquid carry over. Gass Mass Flow Controller 1.Gas and range user configuration. 2.Select from hndreds of gases and gas mixtures. 3.Independent service and disgnostic port for on-tool troubleshooting and process fingerprinting and optimization. 4.Integrated high visability LCD display reports flow and termperature. 5.Change full scale and flow range up to 3:1 for optimum process and inventory management flexiblity. 6.High purity construction with reduced surface area and removal of unswept volumes for fater dry-down during purge. 7.Surface passivated high purity wetted flow path. Liquid Mass Flow Controller 1.Liquid controller must be of the direct mass flow measurement design. 2.Controller must have a integral flow control valve, flow sensor and PID controller. 3.Two analog independent output signals for mass flow and density or temperature. 4.Must have on board status, alarm and LEDs. Other Characterisitics: 1.Support engineer shall be available for onsite service within 24 hours of notice from the Government. 2.Installation and training shall be provided by a factory service engineer. 3.4-Channel mass flow electronics package. 4.Temperature controller to run the vaporizer. 5.Cable connections for all components. 6.USB Communication Port. 7.Table top enclosure including integral cable connectors.
