- This is a notice of intent that 638 SCMG/PKAC anticipates issuing a Five Year Firm Fixed Price IDIQ Type Requirements Contract for the Repair of Circuit Card Assemblies for NSN: 5998-01-193-4223KV. The Part Number (P/N) is: 865284-1. This repair acquisition will have a Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) of 2 Each for the Basic Year; a BEQ of 2 Each for Option Year One; a BEQ of 2 Each for Option Year Two; a BEQ of 3 Each for Option Year Three; and a BEQ of 2 Each for Option Year Four. This Repair will include: Performance Work Statement (PWS); Appendix C “Industrial Safety and Health Requirements; CAV AF CFM Statement of Work with Contractor Communications Network Document; Packaging Requirements (Form 158) with Vendor Packaging Instructions; and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL's Numbers A001 and A002). This acquisition will be issued competitively for full and open competition. Delivery will be 30 Days After Receipt of Repairable Assets or After Receipt of Funder Order (whichever is later) for Non-MICAP and 15 Days for MICAP/SURGE Items. The response date for the Solicitation will be issued approximately 15 April 2012 with a proposal due date of approximately 15 May 2012. The RFP will be issued using electronic procedures which will be posted at the following website: www.fedbizopps.gov. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED and no hard copies will be mailed out. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation shall be considered. OMBUDSMAN: All potential offeror(s) should contact the Buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the Contracting Officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
