- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) SP4707-12-Q-0039 Contractor is to provide the items listed below. This is a brand name requirement. This equipment is the only known digital telephones that integrate with the current telephone system. Item SUPPLIES/SERVICES QTY UNIT UNIT-PRICE AMOUNT 0001 Avaya 6408 Digital Telephone 130 EA P/N: 33048SG TOTAL ALL LINES $ This requirement is 100% set aside for small business. NAICS code is 334210 and the size standard is 1,000 Employees for manufacturers and 500 employees for non-manufacturers. According to 13 CFR Part 121.406 (b)(i) (II) (iii)(iv) a nonmanufacturer may qualify as a small business concern for a requirement to provide manufactured products or other supply items as a nonmanufacturer if it: does not exceed 500 employees; is primarily engaged in the retail or wholesale trade and normally sells the type of item being supplied; takes ownership or possession of the item(s) with its personnel, equipment or facilities in a manner consistent with industry practice; and will supply the end item of a small business manufacturer, processor or producer made in the United States. W hile companies may self certify on the CCR and ORCA based on the number of employees listed on the SBA Size Standards Table, for Government procurement purposes when using a manufacturer NAICS the applicable number of employees is 500 as indicated in the above CFR site. The resulting contract or order will be firm-fixed price. The offeror shall provide a price for each line above.
