- MP Cutsheets Electrical Cutsheets Drawings Specifications Return Instructions Solicitation PROJECT DESCRIPTION : The Zigzag Ranger Station Visitor Portal is a partial remodel of an approximately 3,900 square foot office building plus the construction of one wing and an attached visitor's information center totalling 3,750 square feet. The site work consists of, but is not limited to, the underground utility connections, grading, excavation, sidewalk, aggregate parking spaces, erosion control and site lighting. Remodel work consists of, but is not limited to, lobby remodel with casework, partial demolition and construction of interior walls and doors, new HVAC and Electric equipment, carpet, painting, and new computer/data/voice wiring and receptacles. New Construction will be post and beam construction with crawl space, conventional wood framed wall construction with mostly open areas for modular furniture with a truss roof system. New construction will also include all necessary HVAC, lighting, data and power requirements for office functions. Bid option items include replacement of 1) an additional wing to the office, 2) existing siding, 3) the installation of a CXT toilet structure, 4) wood window alternative and 5) the paving of the aggregate parking spaces. Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, tools, transportation and supplies, and perform all work required to remodel the facilities in accordance with drawings and specifications of the contract. The solicitation will be posted to this website on or after March 23, 2012. PROJECT LOCATION : The project is located at the Zigzag Ranger Station on the Mt. Hood National Forest. Physical address is 70220 East Highway 26, Zigzag, OR. SOLICITATION DETAILS : The following preliminary details are provided for the benefit of prospective offerors, but are subject to change in the actual solicitation. Price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Contract Type: Firm fixed-price. Period of Performance: 270 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. Solicitation Type: Request for Proposal Bonding Requirement: Bid Bond (20%) submitted with proposal; Performance and Payment Bonds (100% each) submitted after award of contract. PARTICIPATION : This project is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible and Small Business Administration (SBA) certified small business concerns may submit an offer which will be considered. AUTOMATIC NOTIFICATION : By registering to receive notification on posted synopses, the reader will be automatically notified via email of any changes to this project.
