Description
The Space and Naval Warfare SystemsCommand (SPAWAR) in support of the Naval Enterprise Networks (NEN) Program Management Office (PMW- 205)/ Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN) Program is announcing its intent to provide potential Enterprise Services and Transport Services offerors the opportunity to tour the Network Operations Center (NOC), large server farm, and help desk in Norfolk, Virginia in support of the NGEN acquisition process. In order to participate in a tour, all company representatives must have a Secret security clearance and their company must have a fully executed (signed) NGEN Government Purpose Rights (GPR) Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) on file with the NGEN Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO). For companies that do not have an executed GPR NDA on file, contact the NGEN PCO support staff at NGENNDA_NGENNDA@bah.com. Company representatives are required to have their Company Security Officer send their Visit Authorization Letter (VAL) to the Norfolk Assistant Facility Security Officer, Sylvia Knox, using the following guidelines: a) start date = date of request, b) end date = 6/30/2012, c) POC = Ted Knight, d) POC tel = (757) 443-2564, e) SMO = 1U3055-ISO, f) reason for visit = NMCI Tour. Ms. Sylvia Knox can be reached at (757) 963-1576. Paper VAL's can be submitted via fax (757) 963-3024. If an individual does not currently hold a clearance, information on this process can be obtained from the Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO) website. For companies that do not have an executed GPR NDA on file, contact the NGEN PCO support staff at NGENNDA_NGENNDA@bah.com. Tours will be conducted twice daily, Monday Friday, beginning on 23 April and concluding on 4 May 2012. Daily tour times are 0730 1030hrs and 1030 1330hrs. Companies will be limited to 3 representatives total (not per tour) and each tour will accommodate 33 individuals on a first come basis. Representatives will be limited to one tour. To schedule a tour complete the NMCI Tour Request Form provided in this FBO announcement and email it to NGENPWS_NGENPWS@bah.com by 13 April 2012. The NMCI Tour Request Form requires that representatives offer 3 potential tour dates and times in order of preference. All tour requests will be vetted by PMW-205 staff to ensure the following criteria has been met: Corporate GPR NDA on file with the NGEN PCO Individual is affiliated with the company who signed the NDA Individual SECRET Security Clearance for all participants Visit Authorization Letter (VAL) has been received by the Norfolk Assistant Facility Security Officer. Once a PMW-205 representative has verified that the requestor has met the criteria listed above, the requestor will be notified with a tour date and time confirmation. If the requestors preferred tour is not available, an alternate tour listed in the NMCI Tour Request Form will be scheduled. If any of the criteria listed above has not been met, the requestor will be contacted by a PMW-205 representative and informed of the shortfall. Equity remains paramount and thus the questions and answers (Q&A) process will be strictly controlled. Contractors may submit questions during the tours in writing to the respective presenters/station managers. Between each station of the tour, time will be allotted for contractors to submit written questions to the presenters/station managers. Questions will be reviewed by the NGEN PCO and appropriate SMEs. All final answers/responses will be posted to the FBO website after all tours have been completed. The company name or individual posing the question will not be released to the public only the Q&A will be released. To comply with facility security requirements a list of all tour participants will be provided to HP Enterprise Services. Tour objectives, logistics, security policies and procedures, area lodging and restaurants are provided in the Welcome Package within this FBO announcement. ******************************** PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT ALL TRAVEL COSTS INCURRED BY TOUR PARTICIPANTS WILL BE AT THAT COMPANY'S EXPENSE.
