Description

Region 4 Exclusive Use Light Fixed Wing Solicitation The intent of this solicitation and any resultant Contract is to obtain services on an Exclusive Use (EU) basis of light fixed wing aircraft fully operated by qualified personnel and equipped to meet specifications for special use missions (air tactical) and in administration and protection of Public Lands in the Intermountain Region (Region 4) of the USDA Forest Service, Boise National Forest. During the Mandatory Availability Period and any extensions thereof, the aircraft shall be made available for the exclusive use of the Government. Resultant contract will be issued as Firm Fixed Price contract with Economic Price Adjustment with a Base Year and four (4) Option Years. The aircraft furnished shall be used for air attack, support missions, and administrative flights. It may also be used for law enforcement flights when agreed to in writing by the Contractor. The government has Interagency and cooperative agreements with Federal and State agencies and private landholders. Aircraft may be dispatched for interagency use.
