Description
Chiller Wiring Electrical Repairs - Contractor shall provide all tools, labor, equipment, parts and transportation necessary to replace one Power and one Control Circuit from the source (building 1) to the West Center Chiller at the Veterans Affairs Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System, Omaha VA Medical Center located at 4101 Woolworth Avenue, Omaha, NE. Major items of work, include, but are not limited to: (1) Replace two #10 Copper Conductor; (2) Replace seven #4 Copper Conductors; (3) Replace one 1/2 Conduit by Directional Boring or Trenching from Building 1, across Doctor s parking lot to West Center Chiller.; and (4) Repair asphalt from Directional Boring in Doctor s parking lot. All work shall be performed in accordance with project Scope of Work and all applicable VA and local codes and standards. Solicitation Number VA263-12-Q-0412 for this effort will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about April 12, 2012. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary to bid the project. An Organized Site Visit will not be held (See solicitation when available for Point of Contact information to arrange a site visit). Quotes are tentatively scheduled to be due May 3, 2012 (see solicitation when available for specific time/date/place). The Period of Performance is expected to be 30 calendar days from the receipt of award. THIS SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is under $25,000.00.
