Federal Business Opportunities, Sources Sought (Request for Information) Office of Information Technology (OIT), Office of Information Security (OIS) Rental of Audiovisual Equipment, VA118A-12-I-0108 This is a FBO Sources Sought (Request for Information, RFI) for a tentative requirement for the rental of audiovisual equipment as described in the List of Equipment attached for the VA Office of Information Security (OIS), Field Security Training VA Central Office (VACO). In order to support the VA Office of Information Security (OIS), Field Security Training/Conference at the Renaissance Hotel located in Baton Rouge, LA. The contractor shall provide the rental equipment listed in the list of Equipment attached. The equipment shall include setup, support and removal after completion of the conference. The equipment should be in place and the tested prior to the conference starting date. The contractor should have one (1) person on site for support. As part of its market research, Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this Sources Sought/RFI to determine if an adequate number of qualified interested contractors, capable of providing the services described in the attached List of Equipment, exists. The Government may use the responses to this Sources Sought/RFI for information and planning purposes. The List of Equipment describes only the currently contemplated possible scope of services and may vary from the work scope in a final Request for Quotations (RFQ). It is anticipated that a formal RFQ will be issued within the next 2 weeks. The conference will be at the Renaissance Baton Rouge Hotel (rooms Salon III/IV and Lacassine) 7000 Bluebonnet Blvd. Baton Rouge, LA 70810 This Sources Sought/RFI is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of VA's market research. No RFQ exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the RFQ. There is no guarantee that VA will issue a formal RFQ on FBO. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought/RFI. This Sources Sought/RFI is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not itself constitute a RFQ. The Government does not intend to make an award based only on responses to this Sources Sought/RFI. All information received in response to this Sources Sought/RFI marked "Proprietary" will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. Responses to the Sources Sought/RFI will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought/RFI. VA will not pay for information received in response to this Sources Sought/RFI. There is no commitment by the Government to issue an RFQ, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by industry responses to this Sources Sought/RFI.
