Description
Furnish labor, equipment, supplies, and materials to remove approximately 2400 rods of woven wire fence and 1995 rods of barbed wire fence and replace with approximately 3500 rods of 4-wire (bottom smooth wire) all steel post barbed wire fence, and 850 rods of 4-wire (bottom smooth wire) 5 steel posts to 1 wood post barbed wire fence. Work under this contract is located in Carter County, Montana. The period of performance is 119 days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Work will start on/about July 16, 2012. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $150,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 238990. This is set aside for Small Business Concerns. The small business size standard is $14 million. A 100% payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $30,000. Payment protection will be due upon notification of award. Payment protection can be submitted by an Irrevocable letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. A tentative Site Tour is scheduled for May 15, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. More information on the site tour will be posted in the Solicitation. The solicitation will be posted on/about May 2, 2012. No hard copies of the solicitation will be sent out by this office and will be available at https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect/. Response date for quotes will be on/about June 4, 2012. Please check the solicitation for all required documentation to be submitted. Prospective contractors MUST be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR and ORCA databases will make an offeror ineligible for award. Both sites can be found at www.bpn.gov.
