Description

This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought notice for the identification of potential vendors who have a Federal Supply Cost per Patient Reportable Result (CPRR) Schedule, as defined in FSC Group 66, Part III, Cost-Per-Test Clinical Laboratory Analyzers and have the ability to provide diagnostic laboratory equipment, installation services, repair service, operator training, and the required reagents and consumable supplies, for the performance of Viral testing by an immunoassay methodology. This testing will be performed at the Milwaukee, Wisconsin VA lab for the patient population of VISN 12. Viral testing to include at a minimum: 1. Lyme, Total, IgG, IgM- 2. Mumps IgG- 3. Measles IgG- 4. Varicella Zoster- 5. H. pylori IgG- An Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) may be issued with a delivery performance period from approximately July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013, with the potential for up to 4 additional option years. The solicitation package may be available on or about June 1, 2012. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources. Consistent with the VA's Veterans First Contracting Program, VA is particularly interested in identifying Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and/or Veteran-Owned Small Businesses with the capability to perform. Information gained may also be used to determine whether this acquisition will be set aside for small business. All interested and capable respondents are requested to provide the following requested information. All responses to this notice shall include: company name, address, point of contact, phone number, DUNS number (www.dnb.com), Federal Supply Schedule contract number (if any), confirmation they can provide and service the equipment, supplies, and to perform and report the required tests and data. Responses to this notice should be sent via e-mail to karen.hammen2@va.gov or mailed to: Great Lakes Acquisition Center, attn. Karen Hammen 115 South 84 St. Suite 101 Milwaukee, WI 53214 Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received via email or in writing no later than 5:00 PM EST, April 26th, 2012. All contractors interested in doing business with the Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and Veteran-Owned Small Businesses should also indicate whether the company is verified by the VA in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) Database at www.vetbiz.gov.
