This is a Sources Sought announcement. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS OR PRICING AS NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. The Robley Rex Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 800 Zorn Avenue, Louisville KY, 40206-1499 is seeking interested parties capable of providing radiopharmaceutical (Isotopes) supplies and services on a daily basis, Monday through Friday, and on weekends and national holidays as needed for emergency procedures. A statement of work is attached. Documentation of technical expertise and capability must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary technical and functional expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. It is imperative that business concerns responding to this sources sought, articulate their capabilities clearly and adequately. The type of solicitation issued will depend upon the responses to this synopsis. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of the Small Business Community to include Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The associated NAICS code for this acquisition is 325412, small business size standard 750. All interested Small Business concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intention to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than April 30, 2012, 10:00 a.m. CST. This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include (1) positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor, (2) Identification of firm with appropriate business status, i.e. small business, HUB Zone business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned business, Section 8 (a) contractor, woman owned small competition for this project. No facsimile responses will be honored.
