Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center located at 1101 Veterans Drive, Lexington, KY has a requirement for Architect Engineer Services. This REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) is being utilized to identify if there are any CVE verified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses or any Veteran Owned Small Businesses that can provide the following services, so that a set-aside determination can be made. This is not a request for SF330s only a request for information for planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. The firm shall be located within a 250 mile radius of the VA Medical Center, 1101 Veterans Drive, Lexington, KY. The firm shall be listed in On-Line Representations and Certifications (ORCA) and Contractor Central Registration (CCR) under the NAICS code 541310. Prime contractor should have registered architects and engineers as members of the firm. The A/E project, 596-13-101 Repair Roads and Site Access, will repair approximately 560,000 square feet (sf) of existing asphalt concrete roadway and parking through mill and replace, repair full depth pavement, repair sidewalks (61,000 sf), repair curbs, replace/install site lighting, widening entrances to improve traffic flow, restripe all roadways and parking lots, and upgrades to meet ADA requirements. A geo-technical report will be required. There will be a requirement for analyzing site lighting. Project design shall clearly show work required and phasing of work required. Contractor will be required to prepare schematic design, design development, construction and bid documents for the project. The construction cost range for the project is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000.
