Description
The Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Fort Benning, Georgia, is conducting market research for the following requirement: A Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) for a broad range of maintenance, repair, and alteration projects. Inclusive are maintenance, repair, remodeling, renovation and minor new construction which may include incidental design services. Both Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build type projects may be performed under this requirement to be performed at the US Military Academy, West Point, NY. This is not a Solicitation or a Request for Proposal. There will not be a Solicitation, Specifications or Drawings available and does not obligate the Government to any contract award. The purpose of this Sources Sought Synopsis is to determine interest and capability of potential Small Business firms relative to North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction). The Small Business Size Standard is $33.5 million. The Government will use responses to this Sources Sought Synopsis as a market research tool to determine a procurement strategy. The appropriate procurement strategy will be determined after consideration of all industry responses received. Any information submitted by respondents is strictly voluntary. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in response to this Sources Sought Notice. This market research does not restrict the Government to a specific acquisition approach. IF ADEQUATE RESPONSES ARE NOT RECEIVED FROM THE AFORE MENTIONED CONCERNS, THE ACQUISITION MAY BE SOLICITED ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS. The MATOC pool will consist of five to seven contractors. The magnitude of this requirement is estimated to be between $50 million and $100 million (base and four option years). All work will be performed at the US Military Academy, West Point, NY. As requirements develop, Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for Task Orders will be issued. Task Orders issued under these contracts may involve a wide range of new construction and repair/renovation projects. Interested concerns, both large and small should indicate their interest, in writing, as early as possible but no later than April 26, 2012. Please provide the following information: 1. Name of firm with address, phone, fax, email and point of contact. 2.If applicable, state if your firm is a Small Business as classified by the Small Business Administration (SBA) under the NAICS Code of 236220 (Commercial and Instructional Building Construction) 3.Please indicate whether your firm will submit a proposal for this project if this project is set-aside for small business. 4.Past Performance: Responses to this Sources Sought Synopsis shall indicate similar/relevant experience. Briefly describe your recent and relevant contracts within the past three (3) years for the same or similar items required under this synopsis. Contract information may include those with Federal, State and local Government as well as private companies. Please include dollar value and period of performance.
