- Submissions are due nlt noon on the 2nd of May 2012. DESCRIPTION The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Atlantic, Code 6.3.2.0 is seeking information on services to develop a robust contract tracking/management database (to include MIPRS resulting in a contract), which will interface with financial management systems (see table below) to pull data for ad-hoc reporting to enhance decision support for AFMS resource managers, logisticians, and contract office. The purpose for this initiative is to provide a standardized contract tracking management database that would (1) retrieve data from multiple DoD-related databases (including Air Force-specific, non-Air Force, and DoD financial/contracting systems);(2) use that acquired data to create both standard and ad-hoc reports for various contract management and decision support needs of end-users throughout the AFMS from the MTF to Air Staff levels; and (3) identified unused hours on each contract for de-obligation of contract funding. The lists below are of systems CTD will interface to retrieve data for ad-hoc reporting. Interfacing Systems General Accounting and Finance System (GAFS) Procurement Desktop - Defense (PD2) Electronic Document Access (EDA) Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) Federal Procurement Data System Next Generation (FPDSNG) Automated Business Service Systems (ABSS) Contract Business Information System (CBIS) Defense Enterprise and Management System (DEAMS) Commander Resource Integration System SUBMITTALS The information received shall be reviewed to conduct objective, comparative assessments and validation of commercial equipment and systems. This RFI is for INFORMATION GATHERING and PLANNING PURPOSES only, and SHOULD NOT be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP) or solicitation of an offer. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI or otherwise pay for the information solicited. All information received will be treated as public knowledge; therefore, vendors should not submit proprietary information in response to this RFI. SPECIFIC INFORMATION SOUGHT INCLUDES: 1. Company information, including name, address, and URL 2. Whether the company is a manufacturer or distributor. 3. A point of contact for follow-up information, and the point of contacts phone number and e-mail address 4. A brief description (75 words or less) of capabilities and existing or related products. 5. Any relevant cost information such as purchase price and General Services Administration (GSA) schedule information.
