Project # 405-12-102 Building 6 & 7 Exterior Upgrades VA Medical Center, White River Junction, Vermont Removal and replacement of wood siding, windows, and installation of ductless split systems in buildings 6 and 7 at the White River Junction VA Medical Center STATEMENT OF WORK: Provide all labor, equipment and material, to complete the following: "Removal of existing wood siding and trim "Installation of vapor/water/air barrier to the existing building sheathing "Installation of rigid ½' foam insulation "Installation of factory finished cementitions siding board to match existing exposure and finish as close as possible, install using bear clip style fasteners. "Installation of synthetic trim board to the maximum extent possible, including soffits. "Restore all metal finishes and repaint exposed hardware, prepare and paint any remaining exposed wood surfaces "Replacement of all windows with triple insulated double hung windows or fixed windows where applicable, with divided lights to match existing. "Installation of wall hung ductless split systems in each room; these shall be multi-zone systems to minimize the number of exterior condensing units. The exterior units shall be out of sight from the front of the building and installed to not risk snow shedding from above roofs. An alternative method to provide cooling would be acceptable. "Installation of 1 Energy Recovery Ventilator in each building to allow for the introduction of outdoor air up to 200 CFM. Basis of scope is utilizing Fantech commercial ERV units. "Clean up and dispose of spent debris.
