Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Medical Center Togus, 1 VA Center, Togus, ME 04330 intends to issue a Construction contract for Site Preparations of the DR Room. The summary of work includes all general trade work, electrical and mechanical work and Project Management needed for the complete renovation of an existing X-Ray room. Contractor shall completely prepare room site and furnish all labor and materials to perform work as required by drawings and specifications. This includes all necessary work to complete room site preparation to equipment manufacturer's requirements; no installation of government owned equipment will be completed under these specifications. Note: The Statement of Work is written specifically for the Philips Digital Diagnost 3.0 daul detector with the TH table option, Optimus 65KW Generator and the CSIII Ceiling suspension. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE is 236220. The US Small Business Administration size standard is $33,500,000.00. The SOLICITATION date will be approximately June 6, 2012. The solicitation will be a Request for Proposal and will be issued as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside. The project magnitude is between $100,000.00 to $250,000.00. The solicitation will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract. Firms must have a current registration with the Central Contractor Registration at http://www.ccr.gov and be verified by the Center for Veterans Enterprise at http://www.vetbiz.gov and have Certifications and Representations, ORCA, at http://orca.bpn.gov, for their proposal to be responsive. The entire solicitation, including the specifications, will be made available only via electronic media through the eCMS Vendor Portal. The eCMS guide 'Getting Started Guide for Vendors on How to Log Into the VA eCMS Vendor Portal' is attached. Proposals will only be received through the Vendor Portal. Paper copies will not be available. All interested parties are responsible for registering for a vendor account to log into the Vendor Portal prior to the proposal due date. All questions in regards to this solicitation must be submitted in writing to the Contract Specialist, Sharon Vienneau, at sharon.vienneau@va.gov. NO telephone requests will be accepted.
