- Non-Competitive Statement for UPS Monitoring and Service Statement of Work for 105-0249-12Z The Virginia Contracting Activity, on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency/ Missile and Space Intelligence Center (DIA/MSIC), Building 4545, Fowler Road, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5500 intends to award a purchase order on a firm fixed price basis to S&C Electric C/O Chas W. Ashby Co., Inc ATTN: Joe Feyka, 6601 N Ridge Blvd, Chicago, IL 60626. S&C Electric is the manufacturer of the PureWave UPS system. The purchase order will be for an annual service visit to inspect and service the UPS equipment per the S&C recommended maintenance program and to provide 24 hours per day, 7 days per week monitoring services. Only authorized service and monitoring by S&C will validate the warranty. As a result, all services shall be performed by S&C Electric Company through their area representative, Chas W. Ashby Co., Inc. Additionally, there are options for four, one year periods that may be exercised by the Government for the continuation of these services. If the Government exercises all four option periods, the total duration of the purchase order, including the exercise of the option periods shall not exceed 60 months. Inspection and service work shall be performed at the Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC), Building 4545, Fowler Road, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5500. FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items (Feb 2012) and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items (Apr 2012) are applicable to this requirement.
