Description
The work consists of: 1) dredging approximately 15,000 cubic yards of hard packed sand from the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway and placing material in an open bay placement area 6,000 feet away. Pump distances of 8,000 feet may be required. The production rate is approximately 500,000 cubic yards per month, with No levee work. Estimated completion time is 80 calendar days after acknowledgement of the Notice to Proceed. Estimated solicitation issue date is on or about 15 May 2012. The estimated cost range for this project is between $1 million and $5 million. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 237990.
