- The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at https://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure on a sole source basis from Combustion Research and Flow Technology, Inc, 6210 Keller ™s Church Road, Pipersville, PA 18947-1020 the following: CRAFT CFD, Version 1.0 support for 3 users, CD ROM Media, Disposition: Executable License, qty 1; and CRUNCH CFD Software for 3 users for Period of Performance of 12 months. Only the specific products identified are acceptable; substitutes will not be accepted. The North American Industry Classification System code is 541511 $23.0 Million size standard. The order shall be firm fixed priced. FOB Destination, Dahlgren, VA shall apply. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The synopsis number is N00178-12-Q-4198 and is a Request for Quote. When responding, please reference synopsis number N00178-12-Q-4198. Quotes should be submitted no later than 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 30, 2012 to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17632 Dahlgren Road, Suite 157, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5110. Please include any shipping/freight costs for FOB Destination to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 6220 Tisdale Road, Suite 159, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13. DFAR 252.232-7003 (Electronic Submission of Payment Requests and Receiving Reports) is applicable to this purchase. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Offerors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at https://www.ccr.gov. A formal request for quote will not be issued as all items are identified in this synopsis.
