- Description
- The National Park Service intends to solicit, evaluate, and award a sole-source firm-fixed-priced contract to Greater Earth Organics for the purchase of a quantity of one 250 gallon Compost Tea Brewer(GEOTEA GT250) to be used at Fort Scott National Historic Site (FOSC) and other parks, in accordance with FAR 13.106. The Compost Brewer features an extractor dome- this maximizes the extraction of organisms from the compost into the water to provide inoculated soils with a more beneficial microbial life which provides a better growing medium for plant material. The compost brewer's has a positive displacement Sweetwater pumps which does not force microbes through pump augers or centrifugal pumps. It uses stainless steel tubing throughout to help produce a more sustainable life cycle. Since this unit is 100% air driven there are no air stone filters that the water is driven through that can degrades the production of microbes and fungi. The unit is compact enough to fit between the wheel wells of a pickup truck so it is transportable to be use between several parks. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only.
