- Description
- Establish carpet and flooring indefinite delivery contract (IDC). Joint Base Andrews is intending to award a contract for carpet and flooring including installation at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland locations, for a 12 month base period plus four 12 month option periods. This commercial acquisition will be accomplished in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 15. The contractor is expected to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, administration and services necessary to install floor covering and accessories as defined in the Statement of Work and as described in individual delivery orders. The applicable North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) Code is 238330. The period of performance will start approximately 19 Dec 2012. The Government reserves the unilateral right to exercise any option periods. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation notices and any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading on the Government Electronic Posting System (EPS) site www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies will be issued. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the aforementioned site regularly for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code and be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database at www.ccr.gov. In accordance with FAR 19.14, this action is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Offers shall be reviewed and considered by the Agency. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, it does not restrict the Government's ultimate approach, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. The solicitation notice will be posted on or about 25 May 2012.
