Description

NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support, Mechanicsburg, PA intends to negotiate and award a limited source (brand name) firm fixed price (FFP) order to Persistent Systems, Inc. for the purchase of ChemLMS Windows Server License. This acquisition is being conducted in accordance with the provisions of FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Pricing shall be submitted on a Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) basis for ChemLMS Windows Server License, quantity of five. Please provide you ™re best pricing and all pertinent information needed to issue an order. The ship to of the licenses is Naval Sea Logistic Center, 5450 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055-0788. The Government will evaluate quotations on a lowest price technically acceptable basis. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-58. NOTE: "All contractual documents (i.e. contracts, purchase orders, task orders, delivery orders, modifications and other communications) related to the instant procurement are considered to be "issued" by the Government when copies are either deposited in the mail, transmitted by facsimile, or sent by other electronic commerce methods, such as email. Any response to this RFQ constitutes the contractor ™s agreement to these terms as detailed in this note." See Brand Name Justification attachment. The following FAR Subpart 12 provisions and clauses are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (a) FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, Alternate I (offerors must submit a completed copy of the Representations and Certifications with their offer) FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, (Apr 2012) (will be provided as full text in the resultant order). 52.204-7, Required Central Contractor Registration 52.247-34, F.O.B.-Destination 252.232-7003 “ Electronic Submission Of Payment Requests And Receiving Reports 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Order Applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items (Apr 2012). (will be provided as full test in the resultant order). 227-7202-3, Rights in Commercial Computer Software or Computer Software Documentation A response to this request for quote is due no later than 5:00 p.m. eastern time on Friday 11 May 2012. This requirement is in compliance with Section 508. PAPERLESS CONTRACTING ALL CONTRACTUAL DOCUMENTS (I.E. CONTRACTS, PURCHASE ORDERS, TASK ORDERS, DELIVERY ORDERS AND MODIFICATIONS) RELATED TO THE INSTANT PROCUREMENT ARE CONSIDERED TO BE "ISSUED" BY THE GOVERNMENT WHEN COPIES ARE EITHER DEPOSITED IN THE MAIL, TRANSMITTED BY FACSIMILE, OR SENT BY OTHER ELECTRONIC COMMERCE METHODS, SUCH AS EMAIL.
