Description

Waste Solid, Garbage and Disposal Services - Richmond VAMC 1. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to solicit quotations for Waste Solid, Garbage and Disposal Services for Hunter Holmes McGuire Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 1201 Broad Rock Blvd, Richmond VA 23249. A Statement of Work (SOW) will be included in the solicitation. The Request for Quotations number is VA-246-12-R-1107. 2. The solicitation will result in the award of a single contract. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed-price contract. The applicable NAICS code is 562111, Waste Solid, Garbage and Disposal Services, and the small business size standard is $12.5 Million. This procurement is restricted to qualified small business concerns. 3. The intended contract period from date of award through May 31, 2013, plus four (4) one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. 4. Telephonic requests for the solicitation will not be honored. When issued, the solicitation will be available via the FedBizOpps website, http://www.fbo.gov/. The tentative solicitation issue date is May 10, 2012, and the anticipated closing date is May 25, 2012. Interested offerors are advised to consult the actual solicitation for final dates and times. 5. Offers from all capable and responsible sources will be considered. Firms offering a response to this notice should ensure that their registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database http://www.ccr.gov/ is current and should ensure that the applicable NAICS code (562111) is included in the CCR profile prior to submission of quotations.
