Description

The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) is awarding a sole source purchase order under the authority FAR 6.302-1 to Intuitive Surgical ® for the purchase of The Fenestrated Bi-Polar Forceps and Mono-polar Scissors used in the Da Vinci ® SI Surgical System. This notice is issued for information purposes and not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contracts based on responses from this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. This is unrestricted sole source procurement. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 339112, and the small business size of 500 employees or less applies to this procurement.
