- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Attention All Offerors: Ensure you read this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation and submit ALL REQUIRED information with your companies quote. Failure to provide all information may render your companies quote as Non-Responsive. This solicitation, F9J3RP2111A001, is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005 57 effective March 7, 2012. This procurement is a 100% Small Business (8a Competitive) set-aside IAW FAR 19.502-2 (a). The NAICS code is 423220 and the small business size standard is 100 employees. Quotes must stay valid for a period of thirty days from the issuance date of the quote. This requirement will be accomplished in accordance with the Partnership Agreement between the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Department of Defense. Only certified 8a firms are eligible for award. The following commercial items are requested in this solicitation: CLIN 0001- (Qty 1 LS) Carpet Removal and Installation at Building 9, Camp Mabry, Austin, TX. There is furniture removal that is neccessary as well and all work shall be accomplished in accordance with Statement of Work. Estimated period of performance is 30 days, however each vendor is requested to submit their period of performance in their proposal. This requirement will be accomplished as a commodity and the Service Contract Act and Davis Bacon wage determinations will not apply for this requirement. The following provisions apply to this acquisition: - FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items. Quotes will be evaluated and awarded to the offeror with the lowest price technically acceptable. - FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal. The following Clauses apply to this acquisition: - FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items - FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items. All quotes must be sent to the 149th Mission Support Contracting Office at e-mail: 149msg.msc@ang.af.mil. Oral Quotes will not be accepted. Responses to this RFQ must be received via e-mail, no later than Wednesday June 6,2012, 4:00pm Eastern Standard Time. All interested parties wishing to attend the site visit on May 30th need to email the 149th MSG/MSC at 149msg.msc@ang.af.mil no later than May 29th by 4PM to inform us of their attendance request. This site visit in not mandatory but we are trying to get a firm headcount of personnel attending to inform security there at Camp Mabry to grant access to all interested parties on day of visit.
