- Sources Sought - GSA, PBS, Region 10, 10PMM This solicitation maybe set-aside for Small Business or HubZone busines. General Services Administration (GSA), Northwest Arctic Region, is contemplating solicitation for Operations/Maintenance and Janitorial and Related Services at the Eastport and Porthill, US Border Station Land Point of Entry (LPOE) either through establishing a Firm Fixed Price Blanket Purchase Agreement through the GSA Schedule 03FAC, SIN 811-02 or through open market competition on FedBizOps. This will be a performance based contract for a total not to exceed 5 years of performance. All practices, equipment and supplies will be based upon standard commercial procedures. The Government will not furnish any equipment to perform the services. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies and equipment. The Eastport and Porthill LPOE Building s are located in the Upper Region of Idaho. For the purpose of this pending solicitation tasks will include but are not limited to: Janitorial, Grounds Maintenance, Exterior Policing, and Commercial Janitorial Services, Operations, Maintenance, Customer Service, Work Orders, Repairs, Testing & Inspection, Quality Control Warranty Management, Records Keeping Management and Lock Smith service. Expertise and Trade Disciplines: to include, but not limited to electrical, mechanical, HVAC/R, plumbing, EMS/BAS, water systems, fire protection system, architectural and structural systems and minor repair and alteration. Anticipated full performance start date is November 1, 2012, with the Transitional Period starting October 1, 2012. Base period: November 1, 2012 - October 31, 2013. Submittal List 1. Substantiate performance of Operations and Mechanical Maintenance and Janitorial Services for buildings of similar size performed in remote locations under a contract or task order. Limit, no more than 3 examples. 2. Provide a positive statement that your firm intends to propose on this acquisition, signed by personnel with signatory authority. Based on the responses, the Contracting Officer will make a determination whether or not to utilize the Federal Supply Schedule or open market for this acquisition.
