- This requirement is for a firm-fixed price contract for NSN: 4920015902905RN R/N S-001-1, Noise Suppression System. This requirement allows this use of the T-10 Noise Suppression (along with the T-21D Engine Test Stand) for testing demounted (off-airframe) T56 turboprop engines. Dimensions: Length 67 FT, Width 27 FT, Height 40 FT, Weight 50 TN. Material: Steel. Basic requirement is for two (2) each and associated data items. There will be an Option for 1-12 Months for Temporary Storage Space. Option will be valid from 16 July 2013 through 15 July 2014. DELIVERY: All assets will be shipped FOB Destination; FE4417. Basic Requirement Delivery 15 July 2013. Test Procedures due 60 days ARO written Notice of Award; Test/Inspection Report due 30 days after completion of test; Tech Manual Contract Requirements deliver 60 days prior to production hardware delivery to USAF. This is reserved 100% for Small Business Set-aside. Respondents to the RFP must specify whether it is a large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, 8(a) concern, women-owned small business, HUBZone small business, veteran-owned small business or service-disabled veteran-owned small business. Also respondents must specify whether it is a U.S. or foreign-owned fi rm. Drawings and Statement of Work will be made available online when the RFP is posted. The approximate RFP issue date will be 30 May 12; proposals are due 29 June 12. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation at www.fedbizopps.gov. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED and no hard copies will be mailed out. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit, and detailed instructions contained in the RFP. All questions regarding the RFP must be submitted in writing to Traci.Marshall@robins.af.mil with copy to Tara.Odom@robins.af.mil. NO TELEPHONE QUESTIONS. All questions and answers will be uploaded to www.fedbizopps.gov. However, the identity of the potential offeror will not be included. Offerors are encouraged to register to receive notification for solicitation and all amendments/revisions and to check the FEDBIZOPPS site prior to submission of proposal. Anticipated award date is 31 August 2012. Based upon market research, the Government is not using policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Duration of Contract Period: 730 days. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(14)(ii) - Trade Agreements - One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreement. The Government will evaluate past performance. Proposals will be evaluated and award made in accordance with the evaluation criteria stated in the RFP.
