- INDUSTRY DAY FOR W911SR-12-C-0008, CBRNE CLS The Joint Project Manager for Nuclear Biological and Chemical Contamination Avoidance (JPM NBC CA), Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, will host an Industry Day briefing for the Global Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, High Yield Explosives (CBRNE) and Force Protection Defense Systems Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) effort to provide interested parties with additional information and solicit feedback. Draft Request for Proposal (RFP) documents are hereby released with this announcement. Date:Friday, 8 June 2012 Time:8:30 a.m. to approximately 2:00 p.m. Check-in from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. Location:Chemical Material Agency (CMA), Chemical Demilitarization Training Facility (CDTF), Bldg E4516, Assembly Room A, Edgewood Area, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21010 Registration Instructions: Please submit the following information to Michael Velez at michael.a.velez32.civ@mail.mil no later than close of business 31 May 2012 to pre-register. A limit of two (2) individuals per company may attend. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Please include "CBRNE CLS Industry Day" in the email subject line. 1. Company name 2. Attendee name 3. Citizenship Status Controlled Unclassified Information: The draft RFP documents contain information which requires protective measures and restricts distribution to authorized Department of Defense contractors. The solicitation may contain data whose export is restricted by the Arms Export Control Act (Title 22, U.S.C., Sec 2751, et.seq.) or the Export Administration Act of 1979, as amended, Title 50, U.S.C, App. 2401 et. seq. Violations of these export laws are subject to severe criminal penalties. Disseminate in accordance with provisions of DoD Directive 5230.25. This also applies to distribution of the data to all SUBCONTRACTORS at every level. Distribution and Destruction of Export Controlled Data: To be eligible to gain access to export controlled data you must have a current DD 2345, Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement certification on file with the Defense Logistics Information Service (DLIS). To obtain certification, go to http://www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp/, click on documents, and follow instructions provided. Processing time is estimated at three days after receipt. Upon receipt of certification, you may request access to the data. Upon completion of the purposes for which Government Data has been provided, the Contractor is required to destroy all documents, including all reproductions, duplications, or copies thereof as may have been further distributed by the Contractor. Destruction of this data shall be accomplished by: shredding, pulping, burning, or melting any physical copies of the data and/or deletion or removal of downloaded data files from computer drives and electronic devices, and any copies of those files. Question Submittal Instructions: Interested companies are invited to submit comments and questions regarding the draft documents; however, answers will not be posted until after the Industry Day. Questions shall be submitted via email to Mr. Michael Velez at Michael.a.velez32.civ@mail.mil no later than 30 May 2012. Please use the following format for your question submittals: 1. Email subject line should read: CBRNE CLS Question 2. Label each question with a specific paragraph reference. If the question does not relate to a specific paragraph, then label the question with a general subject matter reference. 3. Do not send information marketing a firm's capabilities. The government will consider all comments and questions submitted and may provide answers at Industry Day, as time permits. No verbal questions will be allowed at Industry Day, but an opportunity to submit written questions will occur. One-on-one discussions between government and industry representatives will not be conducted. Answers to questions submitted will be posted for viewing. For those individuals unable to attend the briefing, the presented material will be posted to Fedbizopps.gov following Industry Day. A Day Pass will be required to access the Edgewood Area of Aberdeen Proving Ground. All individuals attending the CBRNE CLS Industry Day must process through the Visitor Center at the Route 24 Gate in the Edgewood Area. To obtain a Day Pass, an individual must present a valid Driver's License or photo ID (i.e. passport) and a vehicle registration document. Individuals without these documents will be denied entrance to the Edgewood Area. All vehicles are subject to search by Security Personnel. Cameras and tape recorders are not authorized on post. Individuals are highly encouraged to schedule their arrival time accordingly since there is limited parking space at the Visitor Center. Directions to Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD - Edgewood Area FROM BALTIMORE (BWI AIRPORT)/WASHINGTON, DC: Take I-95 North through the Fort McHenry Tunnel. Stay on I-95 to Exit 77A. Turn right on MD-24 and travel South approx 3 miles directly to the Guard Gate to APG-Edgewood Area. FROM HARRISBURG: Take I-83 south to Route 695, Baltimore Beltway. Go east on 695 to I-95 North. Take I-95 North to Exit 77A, Edgewood, then follow route MD-24 South directly to the Guard Gate to APG-Edgewood Area (about 3 miles). FROM PHILADELPHIA, PA: Take I-95 South to Exit 77A, Edgewood, then follow route MD-24 South, directly to the Guard Gate at APG-Edgewood Area (about 3 miles). Industry day will be conducted in Bldg E4516. Enter through the main gate on Route 24 (Hoadley Road). Continue on Hoadley Road for approximately 2 miles to a four-way stop sign. Continue on Hoadley Road through the four-way stop. Turn left onto Douglas Road, then an immediate right onto Gannon Road (this will lead directly into the parking lot). Bldg 4516 - CHEMICAL DEMILITARIZATION TRAINING FACILITY is the tan building on the left. Follow the sidewalk between the big buildings and the trailers. Entrance to E4516 is on the left through the double glass doors.
