- REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) AND MANDATORY SITE VISIT ANNOUNCEMENT TO RENOVATE THE EXISTING CONFERENCE ROOM AND EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTER (EOC) AT THE MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS BASE BARSTOW, CA. The Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, CA 92311, has a requirement for the renovation of the existing Commanding Officer ™s Conference Room and the Emergency Operations Center per the attached RFQ which includes a Solicitation and Scope of Work. The Marine Corps anticipates the award of a Firm-Fixed Price type purchase order. Only those that attend the site visit will be considered for award. The mandatory site visit is scheduled for May 31, 2012 at 12:30 P.M. PST. Please advise the Purchasing Agent, Corinne Dorado, email: corinne.dorado@usmc.mil of your intent to attend no later than May 29, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. PST. This requirement is 100% set-aside for competition among Small Businesses. Your company must be registered with a Dun and Bradstreet number (DUNs) as a small business in the Central Contractor Registry website (www.ccr.gov) for consideration for award. Respondents shall submit respresentations and certifications electronically at http://orca.bpn.gov. Certification is required prior to submission of the proposal. Respondents shall state in their proposal that certification in ORCA is current, complete, and accurate as of the date of the respondent ™s signature or list any changes. This Request for Proposal is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Marine Corps will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the RFP. Therefore, any cost associated with your submission is solely at the interested vendor ™s expense. Potential Respondents are encouraged to review the solicitation and submit all questions pertaining to this solicitation in writing to the Purchasing Agent, Corinne Dorado, at email address: corinne.dorado@usmc.mil no later than June 8, 2012 at 3:00 P.M., PST. The Government will not be obligated to answer questions received after that date and time. Proposals shall be firm fixed price and inclusive of all parts and labor. Respondent shall provide all warranty information and shall explain warranty claim submission and scheduling of the warranty work processes. Respondent shall also provide an explanation of the training that shall be provided to the Government on the proposed purchased equipment. Award will be made to the respondent whose proposal represents the best value to the government. All proposal should be submitted electronically by June 15, 2012 at 3:30 P.M., PST.
