- SOURCES SOUGHT: THIS IS ONLY A SURVEY OF THE MARKET TO DETERMINE POTENTIAL OFFERORS THAT CAN SATISFY THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENT. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. The U.S. Coast Guard anticipates issuing a synopsis for a new Multiple Award Environmental Architect-Engineering Services, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract. It is anticipated that the synopsis will be issued in July/August 2012 on a full and open basis. The predecessor multiple award contract was awarded and administered by USCG Civil Engineering Unit Cleveland. The new Multiple Award Contract will cover the United States. The maximum value of the multiple award contracts is anticipated to be $15 Million with a duration of five years. The applicable North American Industry Class System (NAICS) code is 541330. No solicitation is being issued at this time and specifications are not available. The synopsis and any subsequent amendments will be available at no charge online at http://www.fbo.gov. A wide variety of professional A/E environmental engineering services may be required in support of Coast Guard environmental compliance, restoration and environmental liabilities, planning and sustainment programs. Project tasks will typically be issued to promote, enhance, and ensure compliance with a wide variety of environmental and related statutes such as Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA), Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation Liability Act (CERCLA); Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA); Clean Water Act (CWA), Clean Air Act (CAA), Oil Pollution Act (OPA), Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) (Superfund Amendments Reauthorization Act [SARA]), Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), Coastal Zone Management Act (CZMA), Endangered Species Act (ESA) and other applicable Federal, state, tribal, and/or local laws and regulations, executive orders, and similar Agency, department, and Federal environmental stewardship directives. Services may include, but are not limited to: • Environmental Investigations • Environmental Documentation • Environmental Compliance • Environmental Planning • Engineering/Restoration/Environmental Liabilities • Environmental Sustainability/Stewardship Potential offerors are encouraged to submit a capabilities statement not to exceed 2 pages, including the offeror's DUNS number.
