Small Business Set-Aside: Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business
Description: ****This procurement is set-aside 100% for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.**** *** Responses will be due on 6/08/2012 4:00 PM EST. *** The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Caribbean Health Care System (VACHS), is issuing this combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.102 (c). The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Proposals are being requested. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 541990 with small business size standard being $7.0M. The Contractor shall furnish all material, labor, supervision, tools, shipping, travel and equipment necessary to provide inspection services on all fourteen (14) passenger elevators, six (6) freight elevators identified in the Schedule for the VACHS buildings located at San Juan VA Medical Center, 10 Casia Street, San Juan, Puerto Rico. The period of performance shall be for five years one (1) base year plus four (4) one year option periods from the date of award. Please refer to the solicitation packet attached for complete information. Interested Oferrors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be considered for Award. Vendors may register with CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423 or (269) 961-5757, or by accessing www.ccr.gov. All Contractors SHALL be registered and in good standing with the following: ORCA (orca.bpn.gov), D&B (www.dnb.com) *SHALL have SQR rating of 6 or better Business Partner Network (www.bpn.gov), Vets 100 (www.vets100.com), The Interested offerrors shall have Vet Biz verification ( CVE ) certification(www.vetbiz.gov) *If veteran owned business VA Caribbean Health Care System (VACHS) intends to award a Performance Based Contract firm-fixed price agreement. The proposals will be evaluated to determine which proposal provides the Best Value to the Government. Evaluation and award will be made on the basis of the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable source selection process, as per FAR part 15.101-2. All offerors shall comply with the evaluation factors stated in this solicitation. All offerors shall submit a proposal in accordance with the Statement of Work. In addition, all offerors must include a completed copy of the FAR provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items with its offer It is anticipated that award will be made on or about July 02, 2012.
