Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE AG-02RC-S-12-0039 Three Rivers Ranger District Kootenai National Forest Idaho / Montana Acquisition Team BLACKTAIL WATERSHED RESTORATION. Work is a watershed improvement project intended to reduce existing and potential road related sediment sources in Blacktail Creek. Work requirements include removal of roadfill and culverts, and reconstructing channels at twelve stream crossings, removing ditch relief culverts, install water barring, partial road contouring, road decompaction, slash and duff replacement, and constructing a foot path. NOTE: Interested parties are encouraged to visit the worksite; no pre-award site visit is planned. The project is located just off Yaak Highway approximately 38 airmiles northeast of Troy, Montana. From Troy, follow US Highway 2 approximately 10 miles northwest to the junction of Montana State Highway 508 (Yaak Highway). Follow the Yaak Highway, which becomes County Road 92, northeast approximately 45.7 miles to Forest Service Road 5816 on the left/north side of the road. Road 5816A is located approximately 1 mile up Road 5816 on the right. Estimated Start Work Date: July 20, 2012. Anticipated Issuance Date: end of May, 2012. NAICS: 238910 - Site Preparation Contractors PSC: F006 - Land Treatment Practices Price Range: Between $25,000 and $100,000. Set-aside: HUB Zone Set-Aside.
