Description
The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, material, equipment, services and facilities (except as otherwise specified). Upper Wildcat AOP: Project consists of replacing an existing 4 ft x 90 ft culvert with a larger open bottom arch culvert and realigning the roadway onto a new centerline. Work includes but is not limited to: temporary traffic control, construction survey and staking of road and multi-plate structure, clearing and grubbing, soil erosion and pollution control, structural excavation, constructing reinforced concrete footings, placing stream simulation rock, placing riprap, structural backfill, contractor testing, installing structural plate open bottom arch (15 ft span x 7 ft 9 in x 98 ft long), installing a 6 inch outlet pipe, roadway excavation and embankment, waste removal, placing aggregate base and surfacing, and seeding and mulching. All materials except the seed shall be provided by the Contractor. Bays Creek Tributary AOP: Project consists of replacing an existing 6 ft x 55 ft culvert with a larger pipe arch culvert that includes stream simulation and rebuilding the roadway. Work includes but is not limited to: temporary traffic control, construction survey and staking of road and arch, clearing and grubbing, soil erosion and pollution control, structural excavation, lean concrete backfill, placing stream simulation rock, placing riprap, structural backfill, contractor testing, installing pipe arch (171 in span x 110 in x 68 ft long), roadway excavation and embankment, waste removal, placing aggregate base and surfacing, and seeding and mulching. All materials except the seed shall be provided by the contractor. This project is located on the Hebo Ranger District of the Siuslaw National Forest, Tillamook County, Oregon. The Government estimate is between $250,000 and $500,000. A bid bond of 20 percent is required. A payment bond (100 percent) and a performance bond (100 percent) will be required after award. Contract performance time is 120 calendar days. Estimated start work is JUNE 2013.
