(W912EP-11-D-0025). PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FROM ANY ENTITY OTHER THAN THE PREVIOUSLY LISTED FIRMS. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Project work consists of maintenance dredging approximately 197,000 cubic yards of material from the Intracoastal Waterway (IWW) in the vicinity of the St. Augustine inlet. Areas to be dredged include portions of Cuts SJ-28, SJ-28A, SJ-29, SJ-29A, and in a portion of the St. Augustine Inlet flood shoal which the IWW channel passes through. All dredging will be to a depth of 12 feet plus 2 feet of allowable overdepth. Resulting material will be placed on the beach within Anastasia State Park between FDEP Monuments R-134 and R-139. Additional work includes repair of a 300-foot section of the Anastasia State Park primary dune system using dredged material and sea oat planting in the repaired area. Incidental work includes beach tilling, endangered species monitoring, and turbidity monitoring. Magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The request for proposal will be issued on 29 MAY 2012 and proposals will be due on 28 JUNE 2012. The award of the task order will be made on the basis of Lowest Price Technical Acceptable (LPTA); the technical evaluation factors are availability of technically acceptable plant and equipment and past performance.
