- The Corpus Christi Army Depot, Corpus Christi, Texas intends to solicit and negotiate with only Mirka Inc. and Mirka authorized distributors under the Authority of FAR 6.302. This requirement is for the procurement of MIRKA Mesh Sanding Media in various grit sizes. Request for Quotation (RFQ) W912NW-12-T-0103 will be issued on or about June 5th, 2012. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 327910 and the small business size is 500 employees. The successful contractor will be selected using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) procedures, representing the best value to the Government. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This determination is solely within the discretion of the Government. All proposals received by the closing date will be considered by the Government. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov or contact CCR Customer Service @ 1-888-227-2423. Offerors must also complete Offeror Representations and Certifications on-line at https://orca.bpn.gov prior to submitting an offer. This is a written request for quotation. No telephonic inquiries.
